3 Targray announces explosive growth in HeraSol silver paste sales to global PV markets

Building on Heraeus’ already significant market share, Targray Technology International Inc. announces that it has doubled its sales of Heraeus’ HeraSol Silver Metallization Paste from Q1 to Q2 2010.

The company’s ability to grow Heraeus Silver Paste business by 107 percent from one quarter to the next reinforces Targray’s position as a leading provider of high-performance materials to cell and module manufacturers globally.
Targray has been working exclusively with Heraeus since 2007 to bring its cutting-edge HeraSol Silver Paste compositions to PV manufacturers world-wide. Targray also works with several other global partners to bring a full line of photovoltaics (PV) materials to the market. The HeraSol compositions are a series of screen printable front and back side silver conductors that have already been adopted in the market by leading solar cell manufacturers. These advanced silver metallization pastes, customizable to suit various manufacturing processes, have demonstrated increased efficiency and fill factor as well as wider processing windows. The result has been better yields and higher output for cell manufacturers.
